Our demo is on there under the "music" section. It was recorded exclusively on Zachary guitars (Simba and Namaste) both strung with ZOG strings and Namaste with YUF 11's. There is a clear difference in sound very noticeable on "It is Water", recorded with Namaste. The only way I can describe the YUF set is "mellow with an edge". If people want to hear what a Zachary guitar sounds like through a classic tube amp in a Rock & Roll setting, I can't think of a better way.

One of YUF's greatest contributions to the universe was to rescue a Zachary guitar called Bloody Red from a gay midget hairdresser with a very low IQ, who had abused the guitar by "cleaning it" when it was brand new. The mental midget had cleaned it really good and then when it was really clean, had listed it on eBay, where most gay midget hairdressers hang out buying and selling guitars on a daily basis, since they cannot play them.

Young Uncle Fester when trying a set of ZOG flatwounds, came to the amazing realization that he preferred a flatwound set with a plain 3rd string, instead of the traditional wound 3rd string. This modification to the traditional flatwound set makes all the difference needed to create an entirely different feel and tone and consequently a new type of string set.

I was so impressed at YUF's genius and creativity that I decided to call this revolutionary new guitar string set after him. The YUF set was born.

 

I then jumped at this challenge immediately and created two Optimized (ZOG) sets.

These are very nicely optimized sets which give you 3 lower flatwound strings and 3 upper plain strings, the same effect as found on a nylon strings classical guitar, where you have 3 wound and 3 plain strings.

So give YUF strings a try and have the best of both worlds.

Just don't try to clean your Zachary gutiar with a solvent or you will be just another mental midget.
